Located in the heart of the action, we were blown away by how easy it was to explore the city. Despite being a small cottage, it had all the essentials like a flat-screen TV, free wi-fi, and an electric kettle. The old-world charm was jaw-dropping, with spacious rooms for our group of five. The kitchen was well-stocked, although we did miss having a toaster. The abundance of leftover basics was super convenient, but it did give the place a slightly cluttered feel. our stay was a mind-blowing experience, and we were thrilled with the prompt response from the owner/manager to any issues that arose. The comfort and amenities provided made it the perfect base for our adventures in the area.

The bathroom was great, with a shower that had good water pressure. I also found a hairdryer and a washing machine, which was super convenient. As a budget traveler, I couldn't have asked for more!

I personally would have preferred another bathroom with a shower, but that's just my opinion. Others might still find enjoyment in it.

The location of this place is fantastic, right in the center and within easy walking distance of the cathedral, shops, restaurants, and the river. It's the perfect base to explore the wonderful historic sites nearby. the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels provided for our stay. the cottage itself has a lot of old-world charm and character, making it a unique place to stay.

The cleanliness of the cottage could have been much better. the inside of drawers and cupboards were not properly cleaned, and there was a lack of spring cleaning throughout.

Reasonable price for five people. Lovely character and reasonable sized spaces for five adults. Kitchen well-equipped with plenty of crockery and pans. Cupboards stocked with leftover packets of basics from previous guests. Owner/manager responds to emails promptly. Ideal base to explore historic Canterbury. Comfortable beds with an adequate supply of towels. Small cottage with old world charm.

Felt safe walking at night. Nothing too much trouble.

stayed at a great cottage that exceeded expectations in central canterbury. easy walk to shops, cathedral, and river. full of character, well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of space for five adults. felt like borrowing a friend's house.

courtyard garden was messy with overflowing recycling and rubbish.
